ITA Awards Academic Honors to Marshall Tennis Team Members

Four members of the Marshall University tennis team earned 2006 Intercollegiate Tennis Association's All-Academic individual honors today.

Thundering Herd senior Holly Asel, junior Ashley Christopher, sophomore Jeanne Schwartz along with freshmen Karolina Soor and Jessica Keener were honored for their academics by collegiate tennis' governing body.

Requirements for the ITA's academic achievement awards were individuals who lettered on their respective team, carried a 3.5 or better GPA and were enrolled at their present institution for at least two years were eligible. In total eighteen C-USA student-athletes were honored as individual All-Academic members.
