Marshall Women's Tennis Competes in the East Regional Championships

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall women's tennis team will travel to Norfolk, Va. to compete in the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association East Women's Regional Championship hosted by Old Dominion University beginning Friday, Oct. 19 and concluding Tuesday, Oct. 23. Match play will begin Friday, Oct. 19 at 9 a.m.
The singles finalists and doubles champion from this event will earn spots in the Nov. 1-4 ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships hosted by The Ohio State University at the Racquet Club of Columbus.
Marshall's senior Jeanne Schwartz (West Palm Beach, Fla.), junior Kellie Schmitt (Pittsburgh, Pa.), junior Karolina Soor (Lindesberg, Sweden), sophomore Thaddea Lock (Bristol, England), and freshman Isabell Raich (Klaus, Austria) will represent the Herd in the championship.
