Marshall Tennis Closes Out Opening Weekend of Fall

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Tennis Team concluded its opening weekend of the Fall at Thunder in the Mountains in Charleston, West Virginia, and the ITA All-American in Cary, North Carolina.

At the ITA All-American, Alina Mokrynska and Isabelle Walker picked up a win over ninth-seeded pairing Nadea Lagaev and Eva Rodriguez in straight sets in the round of 32.

At Thunder in the Mountains, Polina Gumeniuk and Nour El Ouazzani each made runs to the quarterfinals. El Ouazzani battled West Virginia's Sosanne Malek and won in three sets after dropping the first.
