Billings Resigns as Women's Basketball Assistant Coach

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Marshall University head women's basketball coach Royce Chadwick announced today the resignation of assistant coach Adrienne "Ace" Billings.

Billings completed her first season at Marshall in 2006-07 after joining the Thundering Herd coaching staff in July. The former UCF standout plans to return to her native Florida to work in the sport management aspect of basketball camps as well as getting involved in the AAU circuit.

"Ace will do very well in the management of basketball camps role," Chadwick said. "She is a young lady with tremendous enthusiasm and we wish her well in her future endeavors."

Marshall will begin a search for Billings' replacement immediately.
