Conference USA Commisioner'S Honor Roll Announced

IRVING, Texas - The Marshall Thundering Herd placed a total of 181 student-athletes on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, fourth most out of the 12-school league, Commissioner Britton Banowsky announced on Tuesday. C-USA athletes earned the honor by maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better during the 2006-07 academic year.
UCF placed the highest number of student-athletes on the honor roll, producing 190 members. SMU followed close behind with 188, while Rice ranked third with 183 student-athletes on the list.
Student-athletes with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or better also receive the Commissioner's Academic Medal. Those winners will be released Wednesday.
