Big Green Coaches Tour Coming to Columbus on May 9

Marshall Thundering Herd supporters in the Central Ohio area will be hosting a trio of Marshall University coaches when they visit the Buckeye Hall of Fame Café in Columbus on Wednesday, May 9. It will be the first event sponsored by the new Central Ohio Herd fan club and is part of the 2007 Big Green Coaches Tour.
Marshall University coaches coming to Columbus will be Women's Basketball Head Coach Royce Chadwick, Football Head Coach Mark Snyder and assistant men's basketball coach Shawn Finney. Because of a prior commitment, new men's head basketball coach Donnie Jones will be unable to make the Columbus trip.
"The Central Ohio Big Green (COBG) chapter is honored to have all three in attendance at the club's kickoff event. We think their dedication to travel to our area is a sign that Central Ohio Big Green can be an important part of helping the Herd succeed," said Craig Marcum, one of the leaders of the new club.
A fun night for the whole family is promised. Admission is $25 per person or $60 for a family of four. Corporate tables for 8 can be purchased for $200. The game room at the Buckeye Hall of Fame will be free for all youngsters from 6-9 p.m. The dinner is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Thundering Herd cheerleaders, Marco and MU athletic department administrators will be joining the coaches.
