HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University men's basketball team is scheduled to appear on television six times during the 2008-09 regular season, including two nationally-televised home contests on CBS College Sports (CBS C) and three regional games on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast (CSS).

The Thundering Herd will play host to East Carolina on Jan. 10 and Tulane on Feb. 7 in games televised by CBS C. Marshall split last season's series with the Pirates and lost in the first round of the Conference USA Championship to Tulane after sweeping the regular season series from the Green Wave.

Marshall will appear on CSS three times this season, including its C-USA opener at Memphis on Jan. 7. The Herd's road tilt at Southern Miss (Jan. 27) and its home date with UAB (Jan. 31) will also be broadcast by CSS.

Marshall's non-conference tilt versus intrastate rival West Virginia is scheduled to be televised live across the state via the Capital Classic Network.

More than 35 nationally-televised games are scheduled to feature C-USA teams this season. Coverage of C-USA basketball is also available online through the C-USA Network, available exclusively on the league's official website www.conferenceusa.com, C-USA All-Access and all 12 team sites.
