HUNTINGTON - For a third consecutive week the Marshall University swimming and diving team will host a home meet at the Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium. This time the Herd will host Youngstown State at 5 p.m. Friday.

Marshall (2-2) enters the meet fresh off of last week's win over Radford and head coach Leonard Kraus is expecting his squad to continue the progression they showed last Saturday.

"We are looking forward to continuing to make strides in the little things we do and to work on our goals," Kraus said. "I believe our divers will again play an important role in the meet. I am also looking for a spark from the butterfly group and I would like to see the freestyle events continue to improve."

Marshall will be relying again look for a good performance on its divers who have posted strong performances in the team's first two meets. Senior Siobhan Schuurman swept the one and three-meter dives for a second consecutive week against Radford, earning Conference USA Diver of the Week honors. Schuurman set a new collegiate-best in the three-meter event, bettering her previous mark of 246.45.

Freshman swimmer Liz Greenway also took C-USA weekly honors as the league's Swimmer of the Week. Greenway pulled off a trifecta last weekend with wins in the 100, 500, and 1000-yard freestyle events to help lead Marshall against Radford.
