DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Mike Schachtner scored 16 points to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 72-66 victory over Marshall on Saturday in the Glenn Wilkes Classic.

The Phoenix (1-2) bounced back less than 24 hours after a 17-point loss to Division II Rollins. With Marshall leading 54-52 following a putback by Tirrell Baines, Wisconsin-Green Bay went on an 11-0 run over a 3:04 minute stretch.

The Phoenix made only 5 of 16 field goals in the second half, but made up for that by hitting 22 of 25 attempts from the free-throw line to finish 29 of 35 for the game.

Wisconsin-Green Bay led 39-30 at halftime with the help of six 3-pointers - two from Schachtner.

Chop Tang scored 14 points for the Phoenix and Troy Cotton chipped in with 13.

Damier Pitts led Marshall (1-2) with 18 points and Shaquille Johnson added 15 points and eight rebounds.
