DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- Mississippi's Chris Warren led all scorers with 28 points, including five in the final 43 seconds, to lead the Rebels to an 82-78 victory over Marshall in the Glenn Wilkes Classic on Sunday.

Warren, a unanimous selection for the Southeastern Conference all-freshman team last season, made 9 of 17 shots from the floor and converted 8 of 9 free throws. The sophomore guard also had four assists and three steals.

David Huertas contributed 21 points for Ole Miss (3-1).

Shaquille Johnson scored 15 points to pace Marshall (1-3), which also got 14 points on 7-of-7 shooting by Marcus Goode. Tyler Wilkerson had 12 points and 14 rebounds, and Markel Humphrey added 11 points and nine rebounds for the Thundering Herd.

The Rebels broke the final tie, at 72, when Huertas made a 3-pointer with 1:58 to play and never trailed again.
