Women's Tennis in Blacksburg for Hokie Fall Invitational

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Marshall University women's tennis team is in Blacksburg, Va., this weekend for the 16th Annual Hokie Fall Invitational at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Michaela Kissell is the top overall seed in the tournament. The 36th ranked player in the country will take on Karina Kedzo of East Tennessee State University in her first round match which will be played on Friday at 10:30 a.m.
Also joining Kissell in the Flight A singles bracket are teammates Catherine Kellner and Isabell Raich. Kellner is paired against Christin Newman of Virginia Tech in her opening round match, while Raich will take on Susan Ma of Albany. Both of their matches start at 10:30 a.m. as well.
Kristina Koprcina and Deanna Bailey will play out of the Flight B bracket. Freshmen Dominika Zaprazna and Kara Kucin will participate in Flight C, and Thaddea Lock will play in the Flight D bracket.
In doubles action, Koprcina and Lock pair up in the Flight A bracket, as do Kissell and Zaprazna. Representing Marshall in Flight B doubles are the teams of Bailey and Kucin, along with Kellner and Raich.
