Adam Williams Named to C-USA All-Academic Team

Irving, Texas - Marshall University's Adam Williams has been named to the Conference USA Men's Basketball All-Academic Team. Williams, a native of St. Albans, is one of only five players selected to the squad that honors academic and athletic achievement.
"I am very proud of Adam," Marshall Head Coach Donnie Jones said. "Adam's attitude, character and work ethic in the classroom and on the court make him a great asset to our program."
Williams carries a 3.16 GPA and is on schedule to graduate this year with his degree in marketing. He is a Dean's List student and a C-USA Commissioners Honor Roll recipient that has seen action in 24 games this season for the Thundering Herd and has started seven contests. He has started in six of Marshall's last seven games and MU is 5-1 in those starts.
