Marshall Swimming and Diving Begins 2010-11 Campaign This Weekend

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall swimming and diving squad opens the 2010-11 slate against Radford at 5 p.m. on Friday at Frederick A. Fitch Natatorium. MU will then travel Saturday to Xavier for a 3 p.m. showdown.

The Thundering Herd inked 10 newcomers for the upcoming season, while returning 16 letterwinners from one year ago. Among the top returners is NCAA Diving Zones participant Haley Holmquist. Tops for MU swimmers are 2010 Conference USA Finalists: Jaimie Holmquist, Jenae Moreno, Vera Niemeyer, Arlie Rykosky and Sarah Schimenti.
