Kissell Wins Two More, Reaches Atlantic Regional Quarters

NORFOLK, Va. - Michaela Kissell of the Marshall University tennis team reached the quarterfinals with two more wins at the ITA Atlantic Regional on Saturday afternoon.

Kissell beat Alex Bara of Virginia Commonwealth in the round of 32, 6-1, 5-7, 6-4, then took care of Joanna Dorbrowolska of Old Dominion in the sweet 16, 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles, she and Dominika Zaprazna also made it to the quarters with an 8-2 victory against the team of Pietzych/Yakauleva.

Action at Old Dominion continues tomorrow with quarterfinal action and concludes Monday.
