Thundering Herd Concludes Action at Hokie Fall Invitational

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Marshall University women's tennis team concluded action at the Hokie Fall Invitational and now set their sights on Mid-Atlantic Regional in three weeks.

The doubles team of Catherine Kellner and Maria Voscekova played very well in Flight A doubles, making it to the semi-finals. The duo finished the weekend by placing fourth overall.

In Flight B doubles, Kristina Koprcina and Karlyn Timko teamed up for a fifth place finish. The tandem topped Douglass/Palmucci of James Madison in the consolation finals.

The Mid-Atlantic Regional is set to start Oct. 21st in Norfolk, Va., hosted by Old Dominion University.
