OXFORD, Ohio- The Marshall women's basketball team sets its site on Miami (Ohio) as the Thundering Herd battle the RedHawks on Monday night. Tipoff is schedule for 7 p.m., at Millett Hall.

The Herd is coming off a 64-61 double-overtime victory against George Washington on Thursday. The win snapped a three-game skid for MU and put Marshall at 2-4 on the season.

Senior Tynikki Crook tallied a career-high 32 points in the win, the highest point total from a Conference USA player thus far this season, while adding 13 boards for her second double-double of the 2010-11 campaign. Crook's 20 career double-doubles ranks her 15th all-time in C-USA.

Adrian Randall added 11 points and a career-high nine rebounds in her first start of the season. The sophomore has proven to be a reliable member of the Herd roster as she remains the only member to appear in every game in the 2009-10 and 2010-11 campaigns.

Lateidra Elliott continued her production on Thursday chipping in 7 points, three assists and delivering one of her two steals on the night in the closing seconds of double overtime to seal the victory for the Herd.

Miami (Ohio) (3-3) has rebounded from its early season struggles to win two-straight. The RedHawks slipped past Wright State on Wednesday, grabbing a 62-57 victory. Courtney Osborn, The team points leader, netted 19 points in the win while Kristin Judson drained a career-high 10 points. Osborn is averaging 18.0 points per game during the team's latest wins.

The RedHawks own a 16-7 series lead dating back to Marshall's Mid-American Conference days, however, the Herd has grabbed two-straight from Miami, including an 83-76 during the Pitt Thanksgiving Tournament last season.

"Miami has a great point guard and they are very prolific on the offensive end," head coach Royce Chadwick said. "It's a tough place to go, a tough place to play. We'll have to continue to grow as we get ready to go over there. But we have to take our show on the road and go play well and that's what it will take to win over there."
