Asbury College Captures Marshall Invite

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- The Marshall Invite wrapped up on Saturday afternoon with Asbury College capturing the title. The Thundering Herd swimming and diving team finished seventh in its final meet before it heads to the Conference USA Championships next week.

Asbury took the combined men's and women's team win with a score of 1267.5 points - over 175 points ahead of second-place finisher Wheeling Jesuit University. On the women's side, Asbury and WJU also took the one-two finish, respectively; while in the men's it was WJU that won the first-place finish and Asbury in second.

Marshall swimming and diving will travel to Houston, Texas, for the Conference USA Championship which will begin on Wednesday and wrap up on Saturday.
