Kissell and Zaprazna to Participate in NCAA Tennis Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Marshall University doubles pairing of No. 35 Michaela Kissell and Dominika Zaprazna have earned Conference USA's automatic bid into the NCAA Doubles Championship to be played on May 26-31 at the University of Georgia.

The reigning Atlantic Region champions are among the field of 32 teams vying for an NCAA National Championship. They automatically qualified for being the highest ranked team in conference.

The tandem posted an overall record of 21-7 throughout the 2009-10 season and together earned First-Team All-Conference USA accolades. The duo is the only team representing C-USA in the tournament.

Kissell will also participate in the NCAA Singles Championship as she made the field of 64 via an at-large bid. Currently holding a national ranking of No. 52, Kissell played to an 18-5 record as she also earned first-team C-USA honors for singles.

She and Marta Lesniak of SMU will represent C-USA in the singles championship.
