Kissell Finishes Third at William & Mary Invitational

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Marshall University women's tennis team concluded their first tournament of the season at the William & Mary Invitational as Michaela Kissell placed third in Flight A singles.

The senior, Hostetter, Pa., native defeated Virginia's Lindsey Hardenbergh in the third place match in straight sets 6-4, 7-5.

Also in Flight A singles, Dominika Zaprazna won the seventh place match against Jeltje Loomans by a score a 6-4, 6-2.

The Thundering Herd is back in action next weekend as MU participates in the UVA Invitational.
