Marshall Women's Basketball Set to Take on Tulane

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.- Marshall's women's basketball team hosts first place Tulane on Sunday afternoon at the Cam Henderson Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.

The Thundering Herd (5-10, 1-2 C-USA) dropped its latest contest to Rice, 52-39, on Thursday night. Despite foul trouble, Veronica Ruiz led MU with 12 points on the night. Tynikki Crook hit double-figures for the 15th time this season, pouring in 11 points on the night.

The Herd is 4-4 at home this season but are 1-5 against The Green Wave since entering into Conference USA.

Tulane comes into Sunday's contest at 14-2, 3-0 C-USA on the season. The Green Wave defeated East Carolina on Thursday night, 71-61, to remain undefeated in conference action. Danielle Nunn poured in a team-high 18 points against the Pirates, shooting seven-of-10 from the floor.
