HUNTINGTON, W.VA. - The Marshall Swimming & Diving team brings their pre-season training to a close and looks ahead with anticipation to their season-opener against Radford, James Madison and Campbell.

The match is being hosted by Radford University and is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.

"We are looking forward to putting our first month of training on display, and I know the team is excited to step up on the blocks and compete," commented Coach Hunt.

"Between JMU, Radford, and Campbell, we will certainly find races to compete in, and going in, we're looking to maintain our composure in the face of the adrenalin rush that comes with the first competition of the year."

Marshall looks to expand on a 2010 season that featured four career-best marks and nine performances that ranked in the program record books.

Head coaches Russell Hunt and Jim Zagaria return two seniors to this year's squad, along with eight juniors and nine sophomores. The program introduces eight newcomers, who look to debut their first college competition in this weekend's event.
