Marshall's Radio Network Adds Affiliate

HUNTINGTON, W.Va.-The Thundering Herd IMG Sports Network and Bristol Broadcasting Co. in Charleston have agreed to a multi-year partnership to air Marshall Football and Men's Basketball programming, beginning this fall.
Charleston'sm News Talk WVTS (94.5 FM and 1240 AM) will air the Thundering Herd's football and men's basketball games, in addition to the Doc Holliday and Tom Herrion Call-In Shows.
"It's great to once again be a part of the Marshall family," said Mike Robinson, General Manager of Bristol Broadcasting-Charleston Market. "We are looking forward to the 2012-13 season and bringing the excitement that is Marshall Athletics to Charleston."
The Thundering Herd IMG Sports Network consists of approximately 20 affiliates and is one of the most successful within IMG College Audio, the nation's largest independent sports radio network, producing nearly 30,000 hours of intercollegiate sports programming each year.
"It is exciting to bring Thundering Herd Athletics to the Charleston market for all of our fans and corporate partners," said Jason Golden, the network's General Manager.
Marshall kicks off its 2012 season with a trip to West Virginia on September 1st.
