HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall swimming/diving Coach Bill Tramel released the program's 2013-14 schedule Thursday afternoon.
The Thundering Herd will have 10 competitions prior to the Feb. 26-March 1 Conference USA Championships in Atlanta. The NCAA Zone A Diving Championships are March 14-15 in Christiansburg, Va., while the NCAA Championships are March 20-22 in Minneapolis.
"I'm really looking forward to this year's schedule," Tramel said. "We will have competitions against C-USA member Old Dominion and future C-USA member, Western Kentucky. We have also scheduled four multi-day meets to prepare us for our C-USA Championships in late February. It is, perhaps most exciting, that our C-USA Championships will be held at Georgia Tech in the 1996 Olympic Games Pool."
Marshall set or tied five school records last season and opens the 2013-14 season Oct. 11-12 in the annual West Virginia State Games, at the WVU Natatorium in Morgantown.
The Herd also has four home dual meets at Fitch Natatorium, against UNC Asheville, Campbell, Duquesne and Bowling Green.
