@HerdSwimming to Meet Duquesne Saturday

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - The Marshall University swimming and diving team will take on the Duquesne Dukes on Saturday at noon in Pittsburgh. A full recap and PDF will be posted on Herdzone.com following the meet.
LAST TIME OUT
Marshall went 1-3 in two days of competition at Bowling Green. The Thundering Herd defeated Toledo, but lost two meets to Bowling Green and one to Power 5 school Michigan State. Freshman Madi Pulfer (Ottawa, Ontario) won three events on the weekend, the 500 freestyle (twice) and the 1,000 freestyle.
For the Marshall divers, sophomore Megan Wolons (Williamsburg, Va.) led the way with her first collegiate win in 1-meter diving. Wolons also posted a career high in the 3-meter dive at Bowling Green as well.
ONE MEET LEFT
Following the Duquesne meet, the Herd will have one more regular-season meet on Jan. 31 at home against Conference USA opponent Western Kentucky at 1 p.m. in the Fitch Natatorium. Following that event, the Herd will prepare for the Conference USA Championship on Feb. 18-21 in Knoxville, Tenn.
