HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - For the third consecutive week, Marshall junior diver Megan Wolons (Williamsburg, Va.) has been named the Conference USA Diver of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

Wolons splits the award with Rebecca Quesnel of FIU in only the third case of co-awards in the league's history.

Continuing her impressive recent form, Wolons won the 3-meter dive for the third consecutive week, posting a 305.60 to top her own school record set two weeks ago. She also set the Conference USA top time with the score. Additionally, Wolons won the 1-meter dive with a score of 261.60.

Wolons' third-consecutive C-USA award marks the first time the feat has been accomplished since 2013.

Marshall diving coach Andrew Helmich said the accomplishment is deserved and that Wolons only continues to improve.

"It's great that Megan received the Diver of the Week three times in a row. That's something that almost never happens, so it's kind of a testament to how well she's been diving the past couple of weeks and it's great to see she's still improving, even if it's just by one or two points. It means big things for us coming into our meets to come."

Wolons and the Herd are back in action this Saturday against the University of Ohio in Athens, Ohio.
