SCOUTING THE OWLS

HAVE YOU HERD?
Sharpshooter AJ Johnson has 62 3-pointers on the season, just seven shy of Shay Weaver's single-season school record of 69 set during the 2012-13 season ... Due to Norrisha Victrum's right knee injury on Thursday, Johnson set a career-high with 39 minutes played versus the Panthers ... Ashley Lambert also recorded a career-high three steals against FIU ... The Herd's .484 field goal percentage at FIU was the highest mark in a league game since a .512 mark on Feb. 17, 2011 vs. UAB in a 58-57 win ... The 31 field goals made were the most in a C-USA game since the program posted that many in an 85-83 win over ECU on Jan. 18, 2009 ... Marshall's 12 steals at FIU were the most in a C-USA game since posting 13 versus East Carolina in a 66-52 loss on Feb. 12, 2014.

BLOCK PARTY
The Herd's tandem of senior center Chukwuka Ezeigbo (Trenton, N.J.) and sophomore forward Chelsey Romero (Hampton, Va.) are blocking their way into the Marshall record book. Ezeigbo ranks No. 4 with 115 career blocks, and needs four to reach Modupe Ishola's 119 from 2003-07. Romero has 79 at No. 7.
