Greenbrier Scrimmage Information

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. -- The Herd's first scrimmage of the spring practice season is just days away. The scrimmage will be this Saturday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (transportation to facility begins at 11:00 AM, Will Call opens at 11:00 AM) at the AdvoCare Sports Performance Center at The Greenbrier Resort.
If you have NOT yet purchased a Transportation Ticket:
Admission to the scrimmage is complimentary, however each patron will be REQUIRED to purchase a transportation ticket. The Greenbrier and Marshall Athletics highly encourage that you purchase your transportation tickets in advance of the event, however due to increased demand tickets WILL BE available for purchase on Saturday (April 11) prior to the event at the Will Call gate (opens at 11:00 AM) located at the AdvoCare Sports Performance Center.
If you have already purchased a Transportation Ticket:
There will be NO parking available at the AdvoCare Sports complex or in the immediate vicinity. You will need park in one of the available lots in White Sulphur Springs (www.greenbrier.com/marshall) where you will board one of the available buses to be shuttled to the AdvoCare Sports Performance Center. Once there, you will be required to check-in at will call (receipt and/or photo ID will be required) to redeem your transportation ticket prior to entry into the scrimmage. Tickets will be available online at www.greenbrier.com/marshall until 11:59 PM Friday April, 10, 2015, or through the Big Green office until 5:00 PM TODAY (April 9).

Hotel Guests/Sporting Club Members/Greenbrier Golf & Tennis Members:
Your room key or membership card will allow you admission to the grounds of the AdvoCare Sports Performance Center for the Green/White Scrimmage. A Greenbrier courtesy shuttle (green buses) will be available to transport you to and from the event. You must present your key or membership card when you get on the bus at which time you receive a ticket for entry. The shuttle will run from the main (front) hotel entrance to the entrance at the AdvoCare Sports Performance Center.
Big Green Tailgate Information:
The Big Green Tailgate will be located on the 2nd level of the Mountainview Terrace at the AdvoCare Sports Performance Center. The tailgate will open at 3:00 PM with snacks and a cash bar (beer, liquor, soda, and water) for patrons to enjoy during the scrimmage. At 5:00 PM the cash bar will close and the team, and staff, will join you for a tremendous dinner buffet featuring hamburgers, hot dogs, country fried chicken, corn bread, wedge salad, coleslaw, potato salad, macaroni salad, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, chips, and watermelon, along with an assortment of Greenbrier dessert delicacies will be available. Water, tea, and lemonade will be available with dinner. Cost is $60/person. RSVP's will be taken until Friday (April 10) at noon, however a LIMITED number of walk-up admissions will be available on Saturday at the event.
