COACH'S CORNER
Assistant Coach Thomas Olivier:
"I thought it was another good competitive C-USA game tonight. Credit South Carolina for winding a way to grind it out and win."
"We performed quite well overall and were resilient to battle back and earn a good goal not long after theirs. After that both teams can argue they had a good case for a second goal, I think, and it was back and forth. We defended more efficiently after the break and had the ball more in their half. But, they seized their moment and we didn't so that's disappointing."
"As we usually do, we will regroup and bounce back. We did compete well and we played hard the entire gameââ'¬Â¦two good positives. Once we put the needed final touches on a solid 90 minute performance, we will be in good shape."
