COACH'S CORNER
Quotes from head coach John Mercer
On the match today
"It's a tough loss. Virginia Tech played really well and you have to credit them. They set the tone in the doubles matches. We played extremely tough in the singles matches with a few that could've gone either way.
On Derya Turhan
"It's a great win for Derya at the No.1 singles spot. The girl she faced just beat the top-ranked player in the nation in straight sets a few weeks ago. Tonight's match showed her toughness and just how great she can be.
