HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Head coach Bill Tramel announced Wednesday that Justine Jagga, a breaststroke specialist from Cape Town, South Africa, has signed a National Letter of Intent with Marshall University swimming and diving team.
"We are excited to have Justine joining us this fall," said Tramel. "She has a tremendous upside and with our improvement curve, we expect her to contribute points in three events at the conference level."
As a high school athlete, Jagga was a four-time school record holder and the captain of her Springfield High School team. She competed in the South African Youth/Senior Nationals where she was a finalist in four events.
Jagga becomes the seventh member of the Marshall Swimming & Diving Class of 2020.
