BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Marshall men's soccer team begins Conference USA action in Birmingham, Ala. against the UAB Blazers. Kickoff is scheduled from the BBVA Compass Field at 8 p.m. eastern.
HAVE YOU HERD?
Marshall is now a 3-3 this season after dropping a 1-0 decision at High Point Wednesday night. Freshman goalkeeper Trevor Clemens made seven saves in the game. Clemens is now 2-1 this season after recording two shutouts over Eastern Illinois and Appalachian State.
SCOUTING THE BLAZERS
UAB is 2-2-2 this season and is coming off of a win at home against Rhode Island, 2-1. The team is led by freshman Massimo Ferrin with two goals. Redshirt senior goalkeeper Joe Kuzminsky has logged all 580 minutes in net this season and has recorded 36 saves.
SERIES HISTORY
UAB leads the all-time series against the Herd with a record of 3-10-1. Marshall won the most recent match with a 3-2 overtime win in Huntington in 2015. Senior Matt Freeman scored the game winning goal in the 93rd minute.
