@HerdWBB to Host Two Televised C-USA Contests

Conference USA Women's Basketball TV Schedule


IRVING, Texas - Conference USA announced its 2017-18 women's basketball television schedule Tuesday afternoon, and Marshall will be featured three times. The Thundering Herd will have two home games televised and one on the road.

Marshall will be featured on ESPN3, Friday Jan. 26 at 6 p.m., when Middle Tennessee comes to the Cam Henderson Center. The Herd's second home televised contest will be broadcast by beIN on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 5 p.m., against UTSA. Marshall will be seen on ESPN3 again on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 8 p.m., at North Texas.

The Conference USA 2017-18 women's basketball broadcast schedule features 20 total contests with 10 each on ESPN3 and beIN. All games will be streamed on the ESPN3 and beIN CONNECT national platforms. Additional coverage of C-USA women's basketball will also be available online through CUSA.tv, the league's official streaming website.

Marshall heads into the 2017-18 season with a new head coach in longtime assistant, Tony Kemper. The Thundering Herd returns key starters in senior Talequia Hamilton, Preseason All-Conference USA junior Shayna Gore and fellow junior Khadaijia Brooks.

The Herd begins the season with two home games against Longwood (Nov. 10) and Penn State (Nov. 15). Herd fans will have plenty of opportunities to watch the women's basketball with 17 of Marshall's 29 regular season scheduled games will be at home in the Cam Henderson Center.
