Game notes - Marshall at FAU - Nov. 3, 2017

The game captains, as selected by Marshall head coach Doc Holliday and his staff, were senior tight end Ryan Yurachek (offense), senior defensive lineman Blake Keller (defense) and junior linebacker Chase Hancock (special teams).

MU tight end Ryan Yurachek scored on a 5-yard reception in the third quarter to extend his streak of consecutive games with a catch to 38 games.

Marcel Williams established a career high in receiving yards, and his 59-yard third quarter reception is the longest of his career (previous best: 34 yards). It is the second consecutive game Williams set a new career high for receiving yards.

Quarterback Chase Litton made his 30th career start.

Florida Atlantic produced the longest play from scrimmage against the Marshall defense this season when running back Devin Singletary ran for 66 yards in the second quarter. The run was the first play of at least 50 yards the MU defense had allowed this season.
