Debell Named to Conference USA’s Second Team

Ocala, Fla. native earns honor
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall redshirt sophomore Ciara Debell was selected to Conference USA's second team in an announcement made by the league office Wednesday afternoon.
The Ocala, Fla. native finished second in the league in kills (4.24) and points per set (4.73). Her 32 kills against Morehead State on August 28 was the highest single-match total in Conference USA in 2018, while her 28 against Rice (October 12) and 27 more against UTEP (October 7) tied her for fifth and seventh, respectively.
Debell led Marshall in matches started (27), points (487), points per set (4.73), kills (437), kills per set (4.24) and service aces (10).
Marshall University will host the 2018 Conference USA Volleyball Tournament this weekend, with the quarterfinals set for Friday at noon.
