Conference USA Announces Preseason Poll

IRVING, Tx. -- A year after capturing its third postseason bid in the last five years, the Marshall women's basketball team was picked 11th in the Conference USA preseason poll by the league's 14 head coaches.
Rice (11 first-place votes) and Middle Tennessee (three) topped the list. Rice's Erica Oguwmike was named the conference's preseason player of the year.
C-USA embarks on its 25th women's basketball campaign set to tip off Tuesday, Nov. 5. Twelve teams will battle for a conference crown and NCAA Tournament bid at the 2020 Air Force Reserve Conference USA Basketball Championships presented by Baylor Scott & White Sports Performance Center at The Star, March 11-14, in Frisco, Texas. C-USA will host the tournament for the third-straight year with the final scheduled for 5:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. CT Saturday, March 14, to be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
