BLACKSBURG, Va. – Marshall women's tennis student athletes Daniela Dankanych and Anna Smith saw their time come to an end at the ITA Atlantic Regional on Sunday on the campus of Virginia Tech.
Smith defeated Natalia Perry in the round of 32 in singles, 6-4, 6-2, before falling to Vivian Glozman in a three-set battle 6-2, 5-7, 6-3, in the round of 16.
In doubles, Dankanych and Smith fell in the quarterfinals to Natasha Subhash and Rosie Johanson, 8-0.
