Women’s Tennis Takes Three Different Singles Flights on Final Day at Wofford Invitational

SPARTANBURG, S.C – Marshall women's tennis closed out action at the Wofford Invitational with a trio of singles titles.
"It was great to have such a strong finish to the fall season," Marshall head coach John Mercer said. "We had very impressive performances by Anna, Dani and Madison. To win the top three flights of the tournament says a lot about their willingness to compete until the end of the fall. I also felt like Liz's third-place finish and Jutte's second-place finish reflected well on how they've continued to improve. We all look forward to the season starting up again in January."
Anna Smith took the Gold Flight in a super tiebreak third set, while Dankanych won in straight sets dropping just a single game in Wofford Singles and Madi Ballow took the Black Singles title in straight sets.
Liz Stefancic also took her consolation singles contest in straight sets.

Rowley (PC) def. Joseph (MU) 6-2, 6-0
