HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall women's tennis team closes its two-match homestand Sunday when it takes on its fourth Power Five conference opponent of the season, the Penn State Nittany Lions, at 11 a.m.

Sunday's match could potentially be the Thundering Herd's last indoor match of the season. Marshall does not return to action following its contest with Penn State until a Mar. 1 match at FIU. The Thundering Herd's remaining three home matches are all currently scheduled to be played outdoors.

This match marks Marshall's eighth in a span of 22 days. The Thundering Herd does not play for nearly two weeks after this match.

Head coach John Mercer currently sits two wins shy of reaching 250 for his career. Mercer is the all-time wins leader at Marshall with 248 through his 16-plus seasons.
