D’Orazio Added to Big Green Scholarship Foundation Staff

Softball standout returns to Huntington
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Former Thundering Herd softball standout Elicia D'Orazio has been named M Club Director and Assistant Director of Development for the Big Green Scholarship Foundation, Associate AD/Executive Director John Sutherland announced Wednesday.
At Marshall, she will oversee the M Club, Marshall Athletics' connection to former student-athletes, and fundraising for select Big Green chapters and sports.
"Being given the opportunity to come back home is a blessing," D'Orazio said. "To see the way Marshall Athletics is growing is extremely exciting and I am honored to be part of it."
The Clermont, Florida native is a Marshall graduate, having finished her career in 2018 as Conference USA's (and the Herd's) all-time leader in stolen bases (166) among the many categories that saw her listed in the top ten when all was said and done.
"Elicia is the perfect fit to our Big Green staff," said Sutherland. "She has a storied career at Marshall and her energy and personality will make it easy for her to engage former student-athletes."
D'Orazio spent last season with the Georgia Tech softball program as a graduate assistant and continues to be a member of the Puerto Rico national team.
