West Named Marshall’s C-USA Winter Sports Spirit of Service Award Winner

IRVING, Texas – Marshall men's basketball junior guard Jarrod West was named Marshall's winter sport Spirit of Service Award recipient as announced by Conference USA on Tuesday.
West along with his teammates participate in various community service activities, including going to schools to read to young students and greeting fans waiting to meet them after games.
The two-time C-USA Commissioner's Honor student-athlete also led Conference USA men's basketball in steals with 64 steals, ranking 23rd in Div. I men's basketball. West was also fourth in the conference in assists with 131 helpers and 10th in scoring with 14.2 points per game.
