Tailgating Prohibited at Marshall Football Games in 2020

Thundering Herd faces Eastern Kentucky Saturday at 1 p.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Tailgating at Marshall University's 2020 home football games has been prohibited, the athletics department announced on Thursday.
All university lots (scheduled to open at 11 a.m.) will be monitored by security staff and law enforcement. Those entities will be prepared to enforce this decision for those who refuse to comply.
Additionally, Marshall University, the City of Huntington and the Cabell-Huntington Health Department have asked all local residents for their help in this endeavor on property in and around Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
The Thundering Herd will host the Eastern Kentucky Colonels Saturday at 1 p.m. in a game that will be broadcast on ESPN.
