HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall Football is bringing the party to Joan C. Edwards Stadium on Tues., Oct. 20, when the Thundering Herd hosts South Alabama in the "Herd House Party" game for the fourth home game of the 2026 season.

Presented by Delta, the "Herd House Party" theme will transform Joan C. Edwards Stadium into the ultimate game day party as Marshall takes center stage on national television.
With the Herd under the lights on ESPN2, fans can expect an electric atmosphere inspired by the energy of a house party, featuring dynamic lighting effects, music-driven entertainment, and interactive fan experiences throughout the evening.
From the moment fans enter the stadium, The Joan will embrace the party atmosphere with themed visuals, enhanced lighting elements and a high-energy soundtrack designed to keep the excitement going all night long.
The nationally-televised matchup provides an opportunity for Herd Nation to showcase one of the most unique and energetic game day environments in college football, creating a memorable experience for fans in attendance while putting Marshall's passionate fan base on display for a national audience.
The LED wristband giveaway will serve as a centerpiece of the night's entertainment experience. Fans will become part of the show as thousands of synchronized wristbands illuminate the stadium during key moments throughout the game, creating a sea of green and white lights that can be seen throughout the venue and on the ESPN2 broadcast.
The game will also feature several special ticket promotions, including Blue Collar Night, Green & White Night, and Greek Night. Blue Collar Night will recognize the hardworking individuals who help keep our communities running every day, while Green & White Night will present a unique opportunity for prospective Marshall students to experience a game under the lights at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Greek organizations from Marshall University will also be celebrated throughout the evening as part of Greek Night festivities.
As Marshall continues its 2026 season, the "Herd House Party" game provides an opportunity for Herd Nation to come together for a night of football, fun and unforgettable memories under the lights at The Joan.
Additional gameday information will be announced at a later date. Kickoff time for the contest will be announced as part of the Sun Belt Conference's 12-day window, which is in accordance with their television rights contract with ESPN.
Season tickets and Mini Plans for the 2026 football season are on sale now. Single-game tickets will go on sale July 15.
