Marshall Swim and Dive falls in opening meet of the season

HUNTINGTON, W.VA – Marshall women's swim and dive team came up short in the dual meet against Liberty with a final score of 216-137.

The Herd has two first places finishes with sophomore Klava Katayama in the 100-yard butterfly (56.85) and freshman Gabrielle Ivey in the 100-yard freestyle (52.41).

The Herd also had two 2nd place relay finishes with Ivey, sophomore Paige Banton, Katayama and senior Regan Raines in the 400-yard medley (3:52.22) and Katayama, Ivey, junior Or Tamir, Raines in the 200 yard freestyle (1:37.11).
