HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University men's basketball team heads to Athens, Ohio, to take on the Ohio Bobcats Wednesday night.

HAVE YOU HERD
The Herd picked up its first road win of the season over EKU on Saturday, 80-69.
 
Redshirt sophomore Andrew Taylor tallied 18 points with a 7-for-15 shooting night. The guard added 10 rebounds to his stat line for a double-double. 
 
Senior Darius George recorded the first double-double of his career with 13 points and 12 rebounds.
 
Junior Taevion Kinsey led the Herd with 21 points as he went 10-for-18 from the field. The Columbus, Ohio, native also had seven boards and a team-high five assists in the victory.
 
Freshman Obinna Anochili-Killen made five of his nine attempts from the field for 10 points to go with seven boards and six blocks.
 
Kinsey reached double-figure scoring for the 44th consecutive game and has scored 20 or more points in nine of the first 10 games this season. The Columbus, Ohio, native now has 30 games of 20 or more points in his career.   
     
The Herd made a three in its 980th consecutive game, with the last contest coming without a triple occurring on Feb. 27, 1989, in a win over App State.   
   
Anochili-Killen has reached double-figure scoring in nine of the team's 10 games this season and has blocked at least five shots in five contests.  
  
Marshall had five student-athletes grab seven or more rebounds in the win. 
 
This is the second time this season that MU had multiple double-doubles in the same game. 
 
Taylor recorded his third double-double of the season, the sixth of his career. 
 
George's 12 rebounds are a career-high. 
 
Kinsey is 15th in Marshall men's basketball program history in career points at 1,555.
 
SCOUTING OHIO
The Bobcats are 7-2 this season, including a 5-0 home record. They were picked to finish second in the Mid-American Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
 
Mark Sears leads Ohio with 16.2 points and 3.8 assists per game this season, both rank fifth in the MAC.
 
Ben Vander Plas was named to the Preseason all-MAC first team, while Jason Carter was a second-team selection.
