Marshall Tennis Falls to Cincinnati

The Herd will play Syracuse next Sunday
HUNTINGTON, W.Va.—The Marshall tennis team dropped its home match against the University of Cincinnati on Sunday afternoon, 4-3.
The Herd fell to 6-7 and the Bearcats improved to 5-9 on the season.
Cincinnati took the early 1-0 lead when it secured the doubles point over the Herd.
Then, the Herd fought back in singles with Madison Ballow, Liz Stefancic, and Madison Riley picking up individual wins, bringing the score to a tie 3-3.
However, it came down to the final match between Anna Smith and Ioana Guna in a tiebreaker, where the Bearcats came out with the victory.

2. Smith/Dankanych (MU) def. Gintrand/Guna (UC), 6-3
