Nine Tennis Student-Athletes Named for Scholar Honors

The team also collected an All-Academic team honor.
 HUNTINGTON W.Va – Nine Marshall University women's tennis players were named ITA 2021 Scholar Athletes and the team was named an ITA All-Academic team.

Among those nine who were honored were Jutte Van Hansewyck, Liz Stefancic, Anna Smith, Madison Riley, Kara Joseph, Audrey Grigore, Reike Gillar, Dani Dankanych and Gabrielle Clairotte.

To obtain this honor, the student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be an eligible athlete. Â To be considered an All-Academic team, the team must have a grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes must be eligible and the varsity letter winners must be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
