Thundering Herd hosts Lady Techsters to begin conference schedule
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall will begin its 2021-22 Conference USA schedule with a home date against Louisiana Tech on Thursday, December 30, the program announced Wednesday.
The Thundering Herd will host the Lady Techsters and Southern Miss (Saturday, January 1, 2022) to begin its home league slate, followed by three consecutive road dates at Florida Atlantic (Saturday, January 8), North Texas (Thursday, January 13) and Rice (Saturday, January 15).
Marshall will return to the Cam Henderson Center on Thursday, January 20 to play FIU and then Florida Atlantic on Saturday, January 22.
The Thundering Herd will travel to Middle Tennessee on Thursday, January 27 and UAB on Saturday, January 29 before it returns home to square off with Old Dominion on Thursday, February 3 and Charlotte on Saturday, February 5.
Marshall returns its matchup with FIU on Thursday, February 10 in Miami, while UTEP makes its way to Huntington on Sunday, February 13.
The Thundering Herd makes its way to Norfolk to play ODU on Thursday, February 17 and to Charlotte to play the 49ers on Saturday, February 19. Middle Tennessee travels to Huntington to play on Thursday, February 24.
The Marshall-WKU week will round out the regular season. The Herd will head to Bowling Green, Kentucky for a Wednesday, March 2 matchup, before the Lady Toppers return the matchup in Huntington on Saturday, March 5.
All tip times, broadcast information and the non-conference schedule will be announced at a later date.
