Herd Women's Tennis Announces 2021-22 Schedule

The announcement includes a new tournament in Charleston, W.Va.

HUNTINGTON W.Va. – Marshall University women's tennis head coach John Mercer announced the 2021-22 women's tennis schedule.

The Herd opens their fall season at the Liberty Invitational in Lynchburg Virginia on Sept 11-12.  

Marshall will compete in a new tournament with WVU, Villanova, West Virginia State and Saint Francis. The Thunder in the Mountains will be a weekend long tournament in Charleston, W.Va. on Sept 24-26th. More information is to follow.  

The Herd will compete in four other tournaments in the fall including the Atlantic Regional, All-American Championship, Atlantic Super Regional and College of Charleston Classic.  

In the spring, Marshall will take on a 24-match season, 11 of which will be at home.  

The home contest includes games against Eastern Michigan, Murray State, West Virginia, Radford, University of Charleston, James Madison University, Michigan State, MTSU, Cincinnati, WV State and WKU.
