HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University men's basketball team travels to the Sunshine State to take on the FIU Panthers Thursday night in Miami.

MU fell on Saturday in Huntington to Rice, 87-77.
With a career-high tying 31 points and a season-high 10 assists with no turnovers, junior Taevion Kinsey recorded his first double-double of the season.
Freshman Obinna Anochili-Killen followed with 17 points, eight boards and five blocks in the contest.
Redshirt sophomore Andrew Taylor finished the game a perfect 5-for-5 from the field for 12 points to go with a game-high nine rebounds and four steals.
Kinsey reached double-figure scoring for the 51st consecutive outing and the guard recorded 30 or more points for the second time this season.
The Herd made a three in its 987th consecutive game, with the last contest without a triple occurring on Feb. 27, 1989, in a win over App State.
Senior Darius George played in his 128th career game, tying Ryan Taylor (2013-17) for fourth most games played in program history.
Anochili-Killen notched his 14th game of 10 or more points this season as Taylor recorded his 11th such game.
Kinsey is the first Marshall men's basketball player to score at least 30 points and have 10 assists since Jon Elmore did against Toledo on Dec. 12, 2016.
Anochili-Killen is third in total blocks in the nation with 70.
The Herd is fifth in total blocks in the nation with 107 rejections.
SCOUTING FIU
The Panthers are coming off a 50-39 loss at Middle Tennessee on Saturday.
Tevin Brewer leads his in points per game with 15.0 and assists per game at 5.8, second most in Conference USA.
FIU has held the opposition to 40 percent shooting from the field during the 2021-22 campaign, second best in C-USA.
