HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The No. 9 Marshall University men's soccer team (11-3-3) continues its 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Tournament run on Sunday in the second round against the No. 11 ranked and fourth-seeded Virginia Cavaliers (10-4-4) in Charlottesville, Virginia.
This is the Herd's fourth straight appearance in the second round.

Sophomore Mohammed Seidu tallied his first goal of the season on an assist by senior Gabriel Alves.

Leo Afonso leads UVA with 18 points, including a team-high seven goals, this season. Afonso fires 3.72 shots per game with 1.56 per game coming on target.
